The differences between the two are as follows: from the appearance, the semi aqueous detergent is transparent, while the emulsion is white, turbid and opaque; The water content of semi aqueous detergent is less, generally between 5% and 20%, while the water content in emulsion can vary in a large range. Because the emulsion contains less organic solvents, its ability to clean ink is not as good as that of semi aqueous detergent; Because emulsion is a heterogeneous system in a metastable state, demulsification and stratification sometimes occur in use.
